Through our Brighter Futures project we delivered a 1-1 non-medical wellbeing support programme for adults with a low-level mental heath condition, and/or for those who want to access support to boost their overall wellbeing (as a preventative measure).
The project was delivered within areas of Swansea where there are high levels of deprivation, as evidence shows it is residence within these communities that generally demonstrate poorer mental health.
Additionally, we worked with primary and community care teams to ensure that suitable referrals are made. These referrals were adult referrals, who were also parents/carers too. We also enhanced the opportunity for them to access information and support, bridging the gap between health inequalities in these areas of deprivation.
